The Pop Joe Committee chose Robert Schaeffer as the honoree for this year's Pop Joe 2017 Golf Tournament.  Bob is the President and CEO of D & D Elevator and has held several prominent positions in the elevator industry, he has served on the Board of Directors of NAEC, of which he was elected president and was given both the Presidents Club and William C. Sturgeon Distinguished Service Awards.  As Education Chairman, he was essential to the development of the Certified Education Training Program.

This tournament raises money for the Elevator and Escalator Safety Foundation and Bob's goal was to raise as much as possible for the organization. During the ceremony, Bob was joined by many elevator colleagues, friends and families.
