D&D’s vision of the future is to continue to deliver extraordinary customer service to today’s building management/owner and elevator industry personnel, utilizing evolving technological and communication methodologies to best serve our customers.

D&D Elevator Maintenance Inc., started in 1981. The three partners, Bob Schaeffer, CEO; Michael Bonardi, President; and Nunzio Meccariello, Vice President, founded the company on three key principles:

1. Do the right thing – all the time
2. Treat customers like family
3. Educate your employees, train them to always put safety first; train them to work on all types and vintages of equipment.

The philosophy has proven successful. Most of the customer base from 1981 is still with D&D today, as are some of the employees.
