In 2012, the Hakimian Organization asked D&D Elevator to provide a new elevator system in its Lexington Avenue property. Working with Monitor Controls, they provided a new innovative Car Operating Panel with a touch screen display and to help notify tenants of important dates and move outs an advanced information delivery system was also installed.

The very contemporary cab was designed to match the new lobby interior. The new machines and computerized controllers were designed and installed to maximize efficiency using “Regenerative drive” technology. As an added benefit, this technology reduces energy costs by up to 30%.
